Terms & Waitlist Conditions

The conditions for using Grantnivo’s opportunity directory and joining its early-access waitlist. Please read these alongside the Privacy and Cookie policies.

Last updated: 31 August 2026 · Covers the Grantnivo website and waitlist

1. Contact and scope

For support, privacy questions, access/correction/deletion requests, waitlist withdrawal, complaints or concerns about these policies, email support@grantnivo.com. Use “Grantnivo privacy” or “Leave waitlist” as the subject and contact us from the address you registered with where possible. Do not send identity documents or sensitive beneficiary information unless we explain why a limited verification step is necessary.

These conditions cover the current public website, opportunity information and free waitlist. They explain the conditions we ask you to accept when joining the waitlist. The Privacy Policy explains personal-information handling; the Cookie Policy explains browser storage and optional analytics.

The current service helps organisations discover opportunities and register interest in future features. It is not the funder, a funding award committee, an agent authorised to submit applications for you, or a promise of professional legal, financial or grant-writing advice. Future paid services or private workspaces will require their own clear terms before use.

2. Who may use the service

You must be at least 18 to join the waitlist and have authority to provide the contact information you submit. If you act for an organisation, do not imply authority you do not hold. Use your own or an authorised work email and accurate information. You may browse public opportunities without signing up.

Staff administration is restricted to authorised administrators. Staff must protect credentials, avoid sharing accounts, use access only for authorised duties and report suspected compromise promptly. Public waitlist signup does not create an administrator account or access to anyone’s private data.

3. Opportunity information and your applications

Listings may include grants or partnerships, programme descriptions, amounts, eligible locations, sectors, deadlines and links. Information can change, contain mistakes, be incomplete or become unavailable after publication. A displayed “Open” status or rolling deadline is not a guarantee that a funder is accepting applications.

  • Verify eligibility, conditions, dates, time zones, amounts and the application procedure on the funder’s official site before relying on a listing.
  • Make your own assessment of an opportunity and the legitimacy of any recipient requesting documents, payments or confidential information.
  • You remain responsible for your application, its accuracy, permissions for any included information and submitting it on time through the correct channel.
  • A listing, link or image does not by itself mean that the funder sponsors, endorses or partners with Grantnivo. Nor does it mean Grantnivo endorses every activity of that organisation.
  • Funding and partnership decisions are made by the relevant third party. We do not guarantee selection, an award, a partnership, a response or any financial outcome.

If you find an inaccurate listing, impersonation, unsafe link or rights issue, tell the operator which page is involved and why. We may correct, remove or archive content while reviewing a report.

4. What joining the waitlist means

Joining is a request to receive waitlist administration, relevant launch progress and early-access invitations at the email you supply. The form records your acceptance of these conditions and your acknowledgement of the Privacy notice. Optional analytics is not a condition of joining.

  • No fee or purchase commitment: joining does not create a paid subscription, reserve a paid plan or authorise a charge.
  • No guaranteed place or date: registration does not guarantee an invitation, priority position, a particular launch date, feature, service level, price or continuing availability.
  • Product plans can change: demonstrations and descriptions of planned features are indicative. Future access may be limited by readiness, capacity, location, organisational fit or other lawful participation requirements explained at the time.
  • One entry per email: addresses are normalized for duplicate detection. A repeat signup does not replace the original person’s details. Contact us for corrections.
  • Relevant email only: this request is not blanket permission for unrelated marketing or third-party promotions. Separate optional purposes require an appropriate separate choice.
  • You can leave: contact the operator to withdraw from future waitlist communications. The Privacy Policy explains deletion, limited retention and verification.

If you receive an invitation, any additional beta, confidentiality, account or paid-service terms will be provided separately. Do not send confidential organisational documents in response to general waitlist registration unless a secure, appropriate collection process has been explained.

5. Acceptable use

Use the website lawfully and with respect for other users, funders and the service. Do not:

  • Submit false identities, unauthorised contact details, spam or deliberately misleading listings.
  • Attempt to access staff pages, draft records, accounts, private files or systems without permission.
  • Bypass authentication, rate limits or access controls, exploit vulnerabilities, distribute malware or disrupt service availability.
  • Use automated requests at a volume that harms the service, collect waitlist information or harvest personal information without a lawful basis.
  • Infringe intellectual-property, privacy or other rights, or falsely suggest affiliation with Grantnivo or a funder.
  • Use the service for unlawful discrimination, fraud, harassment or other unlawful purposes.

Reasonable security reports are welcome through the contact channel. Do not access or copy other people’s data to demonstrate an issue; describe the minimum information needed for us to investigate.

6. Content and intellectual property

Grantnivo branding, original interface content and software are protected by the rights of the operator or its licensors. Third-party programme names, logos, descriptions and imagery remain subject to their owners’ rights. Public availability does not make a photograph or description free to reuse.

You may use the public directory to evaluate opportunities for your own lawful activities and share links to public pages. This does not grant a licence to impersonate the service, resell its branding, republish protected content or use third-party material beyond what the rights holder or law permits.

If you provide corrections, listing materials or other content, you must have the right to provide it and allow its use for the stated purpose. Providing waitlist details does not transfer ownership of your organisation’s proposals, research or other materials. Rights complaints should identify the content, the right concerned and a way to contact you.

7. External websites and communications

Funder websites, application portals and other external services have their own availability, security, privacy practices and terms. Grantnivo does not control them. Opening a link is your choice; do not assume an external request is safe merely because an opportunity was listed here.

We do not collect application fees through the public directory or waitlist. Treat unexpected demands for payment, passwords or sensitive identity information as a reason to verify the sender independently. Contact us about suspected impersonation.

8. Availability and changes

We may maintain, improve, correct, suspend or discontinue parts of the service, including listings and the waitlist. There is no uptime or response-time guarantee for this free service. We aim to give appropriate notice of material changes affecting existing participation where practical and required by law.

We may apply proportionate security controls, remove content or restrict use where there is suspected abuse, a security risk or a legal requirement. These actions do not remove rights that applicable law gives you.

9. Responsibilities and limitations

Public information is provided for general discovery and must be independently verified. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not warrant that listings or future product descriptions are complete, current, error-free, suitable for a particular purpose or continuously available. We are not responsible for a third party’s grant decisions, application requirements, website or performance.

Do not make commitments solely because a listing appears here. Seek appropriate professional advice where your circumstances require it. Nothing in these conditions excludes or limits liability or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable consumer, data-protection or other mandatory rights. These conditions do not impose a blanket waiver of your privacy rights.

10. Leaving or losing access

You may stop browsing or ask to leave the waitlist at any time. Withdrawal from emails is separate from requesting deletion of retained information. Staff access may be revoked when authorisation ends or for security reasons. The Privacy Policy describes why certain security, audit, consent or legal records may remain after active participation ends.

11. Questions, complaints and disputes

Contact the operator first if you have a problem so we can try to resolve it. Identify the relevant page, event or signup without sending unnecessary confidential information. This request does not prevent you from approaching a regulator or using a remedy available under applicable law.

Applicable law and legally available courts determine the rights and remedies relevant to a dispute. This draft does not select a governing jurisdiction, require arbitration, shorten statutory limitation periods or waive mandatory protections.

12. Policy versions

These conditions are version 2026-08-31. Material changes will be identified by an updated version/date and communicated where required. A saved earlier acceptance is not automatically replaced by a later version. Where a new agreement or consent is necessary, we will request it instead of treating silence as consent.
